We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our outpatient endovascular clinic team. What You’ll Do:

Patient Care and Support:

  • Greet and check in patients, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.
  • Conduct patient intake, including health questionnaires and recording vital signs.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and assist with recovery under medical staff supervision.
  • Provide information and answer basic questions about procedures and services.

Procedure Room Operations:

  • Maintain and stock procedure rooms, ensuring readiness for procedures.
  • Clean, sanitize, and set up procedure rooms between cases.
  • Assist with procedures and treatments under medical supervision.

Clinical Administrative Duties:

  • Document and coordinate tasks to support clinic operations.
  • Interact with potential patients to provide information and guidance.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient care.
  • Follow facility protocols and safety procedures, including infection control practices.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

For EMT Applicants:

  • Valid EMT certification (NREMT or state-certified).
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) preferred but not mandatory.

For MA Applicants:

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant (MA) Program and eligible for certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) within 3 months.
  • BLS or CPR certification or willingness to become certified.

Preferred Experience:

  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of medical/surgical procedures.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a medical or dental clinic.

Working Conditions:

  • Outpatient endovascular clinic setting.
  • Standard daytime shifts with occasional extended hours based on patient needs.
