Vascular Medicine Specialist
Dr. Nedaa Skeik is a nationally recognized vascular medicine specialist with more than 25 years of clinical experience diagnosing and managing arterial and venous disease. Dr. Skeik’s addition strengthens North Star’s ability to offer patients comprehensive vascular care, from initial diagnosis and medical management through advanced, minimally invasive endovascular treatment, all within a single, coordinated practice.
Dr. Skeik previously served as Section Head of Vascular Medicine at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and the Minneapolis Heart Institute, one of the nation’s leading cardiovascular centers. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and holds fellowship status with three of the field’s most respected professional societies: the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the American College of Physicians (FACP), and the Society for Vascular Medicine (FSVM). He is also a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
Dr. Skeik’s clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of vascular disease, including arterial and venous disorders, thrombosis, aneurysms, fibromuscular dysplasia, and vascular ultrasound diagnostics. A prolific contributor to the field, he has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications advancing the understanding and treatment of vascular conditions.
