What You’ll Do
As a Clinic Care Assistant, you’ll be an essential member of our clinical team, helping create a seamless, positive experience for every patient.
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Welcome and prepare patients for provider visits and procedures.
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies.
- Prepare exam and procedure rooms before each patient visit.
- Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Support providers and nursing staff during patient care activities.
- Prepare and clean patient rooms between appointments.
- Assist with recovery monitoring and patient comfort following procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Front Desk & Patient Experience
- Greet patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out efficiently.
- Assist patients with forms and required documentation.
- Help patients and visitors navigate the clinic.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized reception area.
Scheduling & Care Coordination
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions.
- Schedule, confirm, and modify patient appointments.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and patient transportation when needed.
- Assist with referral coordination by registering patients, sending required documentation, and facilitating consultation scheduling.
- Communicate effectively with providers, nurses, care coordinators, and fellow team members.
- Escalate patient concerns appropriately while maintaining excellent customer service.
Teamwork & Quality
- Collaborate with a supportive, team-focused clinical staff.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic protocols.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and required documentation.
- Jump in wherever needed to help the team deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Biology, Psychology, Nursing, Chemistry, Public Health, or another healthcare-related field.
- Previous experience in a medical office, specialty clinic, or procedural setting.
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
